The Space

This newly remodeled Maine & Fiddlehead themed tiny cabin is nestled among the tall pine tree shoreline of Toddy Pond. The cabin is located in the back row of cabins, as seen on the map in the listing images. You will love this Fiddlehead themed tiny cabin! Tucked away in a 9-cabin resort on the beautiful gravel shores of Toddy Pond, you’ll have the opportunity to swim and kayak in the crystal-clear water, relax at the shady picnic tables beneath the towering pine trees, view local wildlife, enjoy at-home necessities, and easily access nearby towns! This is truly a special and unforgettable place! Bring your pets, we are very pet-friendly. You can escape the heat and cold in the cabin with the brand new central air conditioning and heating units.

This tiny cabin is 14x14ft wide and has one main room, a bathroom, a screened-in porch, and a yard. On one side, there is a 1 King Bed, 2 twin beds (bunks) and a 3rd twin bed that pulls out from under the bunks. A kitchenette and a small dining area with two chairs are on the other wall of the cabin. There is an attached and fully remodeled bathroom. The bathroom is small but equipped! Brand-new stand-up shower, toilet, and vanity. Out the front door is a marvelous screened porch with another dining table. Outside is a 6 ft picnic table, a fire pit, a gas grill, and plenty of Adirondack chairs for your group.

PARKING: There is a large, shared gravel driveway. One vehicle is permitted for the Fiddlehead cabin. Parking is not directly next to the cabin. There is a spot to park and unload 50 feet from the cabin. From there, vehicles are moved to the parking lot, which is about 100 feet away. It is a steep hill down to the cabin from the unloading spot

ACCESSIBILITY: The resort is not the most accessible place for anyone with mobility challenges. There are no stairs to access the building from the path or inside the building. However, parking is on an incline and there is a ramp to the cabin entrance with a downhill slope from the driveway to the ramp. This is our most accessible cabin, though hills and stairs still exist to reach the water.

PETS: We are pet-friendly! We have simple pet rules: clean up after your pet (inside and outside the cabin), keep your pet leashed while outside at all times to avoid any issues with other pets, and do not leave pets alone in the cabins

I loved Fiddlehead Cabin. Anything that I needed, Eddie made sure to help me with. The water was lovely and the bed was super comfy. You couldn't ask for a more peaceful sleep listening to the loons.

We will definitely go back. The place was beautiful and so fun for the kids. I would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing spot, and to be able to unplug this is it.

I almost didn’t want to write a review on account of wanting to selfishly keep this little gem of a place secret, but I know he’ll rack up 5 star reviews quickly. The cabin was small, but so cute and smartly designed. We were very comfortable with 3 adults and a dog. The campground is also so peaceful and beautiful. Crystal clear water with complimentary kayaks. We will definitely be coming back! Eddie was proactive and super responsive and friendly. We absolutely LOVED our time here. Perfect for families and easy to get to Acadia.

Fiddlehead cabin was perfect for a small family get-away. We used it as a homebase for a trip to Acadia but it wish we had more time to spend kayaking at the lake on site. We loved the vintage camp feel with just the right amount of updates. Cozy nights by the private fire pit were an added bonus. Also there was a grill onsite & AC in the cabin.

Fiddlehead was adorable and quaint and absolutely perfect for a weekend away with my daughter. It was great having our own cabin, grill, and fire pit. We used the kayaks multiple times. Very dog friendly.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in great hands. Everything was well stocked and well thought-out down to the beach towels, chargers, and basket with bath mat. Cabin was cozy yet we still had plenty of room for two adults and a dog. The grounds were clean and well cared for and we loved the proximity to the water and so many towns and sights we had never heard of but were able to see and enjoy! Can’t wait to come back next year, thank you Eddie and crew!

I had an amazing stay at the cabin. I stayed in fiddlehead and the decor and ambience fit its name perfectly. The cabin was super clean, and had everything that you would need while camping/cabin staying. The lake that the cabins stay on is super clean and gorgeous. Not a ton of boating traffic, which was nice. The main road is right by the cabins so you will hear some road noise. But it wasn’t that bad and most times wasn’t noticeable at all. It’s also really hard to find places that accommodate pets. But this space was perfect for me and my lab. She had so much fun swimming, and running around. The cabin is about 45 minutes to an hour outside of Acadia National Park, and is such an easy drive. There are local restaurants, gas stations and a Hannafords all within 10 minutes. When I visit the area again I will immediately book here again, wouldn’t even bother looking anywhere else!

The place being by the water was perfect for us , as it gave us the peace and quiet that we needed for our little family get away. Even though the cabin was almost an hour away from Acadia , the scenery while driving to and fro was picturesque. At Fiddlehead , we watched the beautiful sunset while kayaking and nothing was more magical than that . Parking - among the cabins , this spot was ideal as the parking space was just feet away from the cabin ramp perfect for loading and unloading stuff. Other cabin’s designated parking spot was a bit of a walk. Sleep? Perfect ! The cabin was cozy. Even our little maltipoo didn’t complain. The cabin was equipped with the things we needed from grilling , bonfire and making s’mores. Thank you for sharing your place , Eddie! We highly recommend it.

Super cute cabin, good size for the two of us. Convenient location under an hour drive from Acadia with a grocery store and restaurants near by as well. We loved the lake access and the kayaks provided and the cabin had everything we’d expect and need for our short stay. Would definitely stay here again
